Nordea 1 - Global Equity Long/Short Fund - BI EUR ACC Fonds

The fund's objective is to provide shareholders with investment growth in the long term and a moderate to low correlation to the equity markets over time. In actively managing the fund's portfolio, the management team takes long positions in equities (such as ownership) and/or equity indices that it believes will increase in price and short positions in equities and/or equity indices through derivatives (such as but not limited to swaps and futures) that it believes will decline in price or balance the volatility of the fund according to the fund objective and risk profile. The team also manages currencies actively. The fund mainly invests, directly or through derivatives, in equities of companies from anywhere in the world. Specifically, the fund invests in equities and equity-related securities. The fund may also gain exposure to these assets through UCITS/UCIs, including exchange-traded funds. Due to its extensive use of derivatives, the fund may hold above 20% of its total assets in cash and cash equivalent. The fund may be exposed (through investments or cash) to other currencies than the base currency. The fund's major part of currency exposure is normally hedged to the base currency.
