Nomura Funds Ireland plc - Global Emerging Markets Quant Equity Fund - A USD ACC Fonds

Any income the Fund generates will be accumulated and reinvested on behalf of investors. The Fund aims to achieve medium to long-term capital appreciation through investment in an actively managed portfolio of equity securities that are economically tied to emerging market countries. The Fund will invest at least 80% of its assets in equity and equity-related securities of companies located in countries within the index and may also invest up to 20% of net assets in equity and equity-related securities located in other countries. The Fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing in securities with a high expected return over the medium to long term using a combination of proprietary quantitative stock scoring models. The Investment Manager aims to capture mispricings of assets in the market from multiple perspectives using different information sources as follows: 'Short-term Mispricing', capturing complex relationships between company characteristics and future returns, 'Fundamentals Revision', focusing on return opportunities from unpriced earnings revisions, 'Local Edge', capturing investment opportunities that exist only in certain countries or regions. The Fund may use derivatives (futures and forward currency contracts) for efficient portfolio management and/or hedging purposes, subject to the conditions and limits of the Central Bank of Ireland.
