October 2010 monthly figures: 679,857 orders executed in the B2C business line - 60,000 new customers - assets under custody over EUR 40bn
Quickborn. At the end of October, the total number of customers in the comdirect group stood at 2,254,457 (September: 2,194,180). The number of custody accounts amounted to 1,469,651 (September: 1,418,850) and total assets under custody totalled EUR 40.15bn in October (September: EUR 38.43bn).
In the B2C business line (comdirect bank), 679,857 securities orders were executed (September: 606,852). The number of customers in October stood at 1,517,381 (September: 1,508,686). At the end of October, the number of custody accounts amounted to 737,414 (September: 734,463). The number of current accounts rose to 623,867 (September: 613,639) and the number of Tagesgeld PLUS ("call money plus") accounts climbed to 1,084,622 (September: 1,073,458). Assets under custody in October amounted to EUR 25.15bn (September: EUR 24.54bn). Of this figure, EUR 15.24bn is attributable to portfolio volume (September: EUR 14.65bn) and EUR 9.91bn to deposit volume (September: EUR 9.90bn).
In the B2B business line (ebase) the number of customers stood at 737,076 customers in October (September: 685,494). Assets under custody in October amounted to EUR 15bn (September: EUR 13.88bn).
