January 2010 monthly figures: 662,923 orders executed in the B2C business line
Quickborn. At the end of January, the total number of customers in the comdirect group stood at 2,149,960 (December: 2,150,563). The number of custody accounts amounted to 1,418,814 (December: 1,419,037) and total assets under custody totalled EUR 35.29bn in January (December: EUR 35.57bn).
In the B2C business line (comdirect bank), 662,923 securities orders were executed (December: 555,226). The number of customers in January stood at 1,451,981 (December: 1,450,720). At the end of January, the number of custody accounts amounted to 720,835 (December: 719,194). The number of current accounts rose to 543,796 (December: 533,928) and the number of Tagesgeld PLUS ("call money plus") accounts climbed to 968,670
(December: 960,935). Assets under custody in January amounted to EUR 22.11bn (December: EUR 22.24bn). Of this figure, EUR 13.01bn is attributable to portfolio volume (December: EUR 13.16bn) and EUR 9.10bn to deposit volume (December: EUR 9.08bn).
In the B2B business line (ebase) custody accounts were held for 697,979 customers in January (December: 699,843). Assets under custody in January amounted to EUR 13.18bn (December: EUR 13.33bn).
