December 2009 monthly figures: EUR 35.57bn assets under custody, 1,693,829 orders executed
Quickborn. The comdirect group executed 1,693,829 securities orders in December. In November, this figure stood at 1,141,901. At the end of December, the total number of customers stood at 2,150,563 (November: 2,149,089); the number of custody accounts amounted to 1,419,037 (November: 1,419,503). Total assets under custody totalled EUR 35.57bn in December (November: EUR 34.42bn).
In the B2C business line (comdirect bank), 555,226 securities orders were executed (November: 599,882). The number of customers in December stood at 1,450,720 (November: 1,447,771). At the end of December, the number of custody accounts amounted to 719,194 (November: 718,185). The number of current accounts rose to 533,928 (November: 528,131) and the number of Tagesgeld PLUS ("call money plus") accounts climbed to 960,935
(November: 955,407). The number of customers in the advisory subsidiary, comdirect private finance, rose to 54,477 (November: 53,913). Assets under custody in December amounted to EUR 22.24bn (November: EUR 21.62bn). Of this figure, EUR 13.16bn is attributable to portfolio volume (November: EUR 12.62bn) and EUR 9.08bn to deposit volume (November: EUR 8.99bn).
In the B2B business line (ebase), 1,138,603 securities orders were executed (November: 542,019). In December, custody accounts were held for 699,843 customers (November: 701,318). Assets under custody in December amounted to EUR 13.33bn (November: EUR 12.80bn).
