1,358,158 orders executed, assets under custody reach annual high
Quickborn. The comdirect group executed 1,358,158 securities orders in August. In July, this figure stood at 1,179,825. At the end of August, the total number of customers stood at 2,146,348 (July: 2,145,441); the number of custody accounts amounted to 1,421,225 (July: 1,421,242). Total assets under custody totalled EUR 34.02bn in August (July: EUR 33.16bn).
In the B2C business line (comdirect bank), 616,834 securities orders were executed (July: 628,816). The number of customers in August stood at 1,440,120 (July: 1,438,288). At the end of August, the number of custody accounts amounted to 714,997 (July: 714,089). The number of current accounts rose to 507,478 (July: 502,642) and the number of Tagesgeld PLUS ("call money plus") accounts climbed to 938,326 (July: 933,165). The number of customers in the advisory subsidiary, comdirect private finance, rose to 52,171 (July: 51,700). Assets under custody in August amounted to EUR 21.47bn (July: EUR 21.05bn). Of this figure, EUR 11.96bn is attributable to portfolio volume (July: EUR 11.46bn) and EUR 9.50bn to deposit volume (July: EUR 9.59bn).
In the B2B business line (ebase), 741,324 securities orders were executed (July: 551,009). In August, custody accounts were held for 706,228 customers (July: 707,153). Assets under custody in August amounted to EUR 12.56bn (July: EUR 12.11bn).
