1,179,825 orders executed, rise in assets under custody
Quickborn. The comdirect group executed 1,179,825 securities orders in July. In June, this figure stood at 1,027,145. At the end of July, the total number of customers stood at 2,145,441 (June: 2,140,162); the number of custody accounts amounted to 1,421,242 (June: 1,421,078). Total assets under custody totalled EUR 33.16 bn in July (June: EUR 31.86 bn).
In the B2C business line (comdirect bank), 628,816 securities orders were executed (June: 596,282). The number of customers in July stood at 1,438,288 (June: 1,431,830). At the end of July, the number of custody accounts amounted to 714,089 (June: 712,746). The number of current accounts rose to 502,642 (June: 492,900) and the number of Tagesgeld PLUS ("call money plus") accounts climbed to 933,165 (June: 925,787). The number of customers in the advisory subsidiary, comdirect private finance, rose to 51,700 (June: 50,999). Assets under custody in July amounted to EUR 21.05 bn (June: EUR 20.34 bn). Of this figure, EUR 11,46 bn is attributable to portfolio volume (June: EUR 10,67 bn) and EUR 9,59 bn to deposit volume (June: EUR 9,67 bn).
In the B2B business line (ebase), 551,009 securities orders were executed (June: 430,863). In July, custody accounts were held for 707,153 customers (June: 708,332). Assets under custody in July amounted to EUR 12,11 bn (June: EUR 11,49 bn).
